The Belk College enjoys strong ties to the Charlotte business community. The MACC program has a formal placement structure that provides numerous opportunities for students to engage with recruiters and hiring managers. UNC Charlotte MACC students are recruited by employers in both public and corporate accounting. The list of public accounting firms includes a number of local/regional and national firms, including the Big Four.

Career Development Services

The office of Graduate Student Services extends various professional and career development services to all Belk College MACC students. We strive to assist students in the many and various stages of development. We offer opportunities to develop professional and networking skills through individual consultation, professional development seminars, and various programs like Personal Branding, Self-Assessment and 360 Feedback. We offer opportunities for the career seeker to clarify his/her career direction and goals and provide many resources to enhance the job-search process.

Our philosophy and practice is student-centered: Our goals, decisions, and resources focus on meeting students’ needs and developing the total professional. While we encourage students to meet with us in person, we are also available through email or by telephone (appointment preferred).
