The Belk College of Business kicks off the academic year and welcomes a new class of undergraduate students at the second annual Freshmen Picnic, to be held Friday, Aug. 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Cato lawn.
A highlight of the picnic is "Belk College Bingo," an interactive way for new students to network and mingle with faculty, staff and fellow students. In addition, student organizations and college departments will have display tables offering giveaways and information for students.
The picnic is open to new Belk College undergraduate students as well as faculty and staff. New students are admitted by wearing their Belk College t-shirts.
