MBA alumnus, Belk executive honored by Beta Gamma Sigma

The UNC Charlotte chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International, recently honored two Charlotte business executives for their involvement with and service to the Belk College of Business.

John Tuders, product and payments innovation executive at Bank of America and Anu Brookins, vice president of customer relationship management at Belk, Inc., received the Chapter Honoree Award. The award recognizes individuals who who have achieved distinction primarily in business and administration and who possesses qualities that Beta Gamma Sigma fosters.

Tuders, a 2001 graduate of the Belk College MBA program, has been actively involved in developing an MBA course on innovation. He team-taught the course last fall with Dr. Christie Amato, associate dean for graduate programs. Brookins has served as an industry advisor for the UNC Charlotte Data Science and Business Analytics (DSBA) intiative.
